Dr. Pincofski introduced the "state-of-the art" iCAT 3-D imagining system to the Flemington area in March 2008. With less radiation than conventional orthodontic x-rays, we are now able to view the skull, jaws, airways (adenoids/tonsils), sinuses and the "TMJ" (temporomandibular joint) with 100% accuracy! While seated in an open, non-invasive environment, an 8-second scan produces multidimensional images in just one minute. 3-D imaging is the difference between viewing a photo of a patient's head and going inside to take a virtual tour!! |
